Monaco Estates is a family-run builder based in Fort Langley. We build custom homes on lots our clients already own, from city lots to large acreage. You work directly with the family that builds your home. Hudson Jahn runs every project and is with you from the first site visit to the day you get your keys.

• Covered after move-in. Every home comes with a new home warranty through Travelers Canada, and we're a licensed BC builder (BC Housing licence #27143).

How it works

1. Free lot assessment. We visit your property, review zoning, access, services and slope, and tell you honestly what can be built.

2. Design and budget. We work with you and our designer, Mike Siemens of Mike Siemens Home Design, on plans and a clear budget before anything is signed.

3. Permits. We handle permits and approvals with the Township of Langley, the City of Surrey, the City of Abbotsford and the Town of Qualicum Beach.

4. Construction. Regular updates, photos and site walks throughout the build. A typical custom home takes 14 to 18 months to build.

5. Handover and warranty. A full walkthrough on move-in day, weekly check-ins for the first month, then quarterly visits for the rest of your first year.
